In Business without labels

I may not share everything here because I want it keep it positive.
But earlier this week I was challenged.
I guess that is normal when you open up a business and you put your work of art out there.
Some have taken issue with certain words I use in my shop to describe me and my art.
I don't think you should put people in boxes and stick them in definitions.
I am not defined my them.
I think we are defined by way we live our lives and how we treat others.

My friend said it best:
"What makes someone a true bohemian is their essence, that free-spirited way of living that has nothing to do with defining and labeling. And, to me, the more you try and paste a label on yourself, the less you are what you say --or think-- you are....Being bohemian is about expressing your soul through your art and, if you want to go further, selling it yourself is a way to choose not to conform with the system."

On a happy note, my shop is officially in business ! My first dollar is framed on my wall.
With the help from some wonderful friends to spread the word of my shop AlisonKiranIsaAstridLaura and my good friend Taibi who gave me great advice too.

I have had a great time running my shop. Please stop by if you have any questions on my items or just to drop me a hello. It has been great catching up with some old friends and making some new ones in the process.

  8. I love what you are doing. I think it is really cool. Never mind those whose twisted souls find pleasure in trying to twist others.
