In Dreams

We have dreamt of wide open spaces
to roam in and not take for granted
We can now say without hesitation on our tongue
the city is not the life for us 
We love the green, the silence and the sweetness in the air.

These days are spent..
Dancing in the rain

 inviting the grass under our feet
 listening to the language of trees
 letting the wind guide us
 running carefree
 tasting the salty air
playing in the mud

to finally discover peace

The hot southern summer has made us take into hibernation
but it gave us time to enjoy our new indoors...
movie and popcorn
the princess has the best window view
part of the king's classic book collection 
I love having my own bathroom 
princess room coming together
a very fitting title on the captain's bedside
As I sit here with my boys watching a scary movie on Friday the 13th.
Our skin still smells of salty air and taste sand in our teeth from the beach...
and I think this is what dreams are made of..

      Thanks Erin! This is really the first time she has a backyard to herself. She is loving it! Every child needs to have fun in the summer in the sun. Thanks for stopping by!

    Tybee! That is a fun little place! It makes me think of Savannah too. It took me awhile, but I finally got around to reading Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, which is all about Savannah and the people there. I really liked it.
    I think your pictures really capture the freshness of your move--literally and metaphorically--if that's not being too heady.
