Lately having a super time
saving no one but ourselves
rescuing moments in our red capes
finding out we can scare off monotony in the face
basking in the sun and drinking in the light
we are super, we are heroes
Our mother's day was quiet but full
making no plans we followed the day
found treasures at random stoop sales
using her wit and charm the princess got free sunglasses
...and a orange Porshe she picked out herself.
cooled off at a newly opened park
made wishes...
and I got my haircut with my one and only Arturo.
my guru giving life advice and convincing me to dye my greys |
The best of all were the handmade gifts from my kids
and the extra catering from the captain.
Hope your mother's day was super.
Your daughter is gorgeous and those ringlets 'oh' I wish.
ReplyDeleteI'm seriously considering growing my grey out - dye lasts all of about a week in my hair, the grey is so much stronger then the colour.

My husband thinks grey hair is sexy so I leave it in. Its liberating, Im a wash and go kind of girl.
DeleteI look so young that I kind of enjoy it.
My daughter has the same hair when I was young. I still have not cut it. I think it will hurt me more than her.
I am so obsessed with her hair. She wishes to be rapunzel some day;)
