Sweet Small Gifts

After picking up the kids up from school yesterday,

we received an unexpected gift in the mail.

We love getting gifts in the mail, especially the unexpected ones.

The kids were holding it like a new found treasure.

Punk Princess

Some time back I was giving away gifts as an act of kindness
and asking them to practice it to someone deserving of it in their life.
Not expecting it to come back to me.
I witnessed how things come back full circle.

Picking Princess

My lovely cousin Zaida was the fairy bearing gifts.
She is a strong, independent, working mother of three who made the time for this.

 The king received this magnet that truly describes him and his daily ritual.
She knows him so well.

Lucy kept the "halloween bag" as she called it to herself.

The gift for the princess was priceless.

Her face will tell you.

Yup...that's the face!

This was truly special.
She was so incredibly touched.
"Is this from Tinkerbell?", she said.
I said " One of Tinkerbell's close fairy friends, my cousin Zaida."

She could not stop looking at this small wonder and the magic it holds.
She wanted so badly to open it up.
We told her it could lose its magic if opened.

She wanted to take it everywhere.
So I made a chain for it .

These were my treasures...
My magnets showing a parts of me too.
I so love them.

She knows me well.

They found a home here, among the collage of pictures that
make up my life, on the refrigerator door.

Saying "thank you" does not cover it.
I will be sending a handmade thank you gift very soon
to her and her little ones.
