Bluebell comes home

A few weeks back I was the winner of a lovely giveaway.
It was from one of the very first blogs I ever followed, and it was her first giveaway.
I was overjoyed when I found out I had won.
Beck from Australia enjoys the simple life with her lovely family
and makes the loveliest handmade things.
Please check out her beautiful blog Dandelion, and let her know I said hello.
With much anticipation I waited.... without a word to the princess
Until one morning after breakfast the bell rang and... Tadahhh!
" You have a package from Australia" ... I yelled "she's here! she's here!

"Momma is it for me? What is it? What is it?
"She is beautiful momma! I love her"
She was carefully packaged in a Aussie shopping bag which I have saved.

"Momma is she for me?"
"Lucy, she belongs to all of us. She is part of our family now."
"What is her name?"

She is named Bluebell...she is so soft, extremely huggable and has the sweetest face.
With all of the little handmade details, she is the perfect addition to our family.
music in the background ...."I'm gonna dance with her"
The princess was in love with her as I was with Lucy when she was first born.

"Momma will you knit her some clothes for me?"
" Sure Lucy, I will do my best."

It was so sweet to watch her display of affection to her.

She included some extra, sweet goodies in her package.
On a postcard with pictures from her town there was a lovely handwritten note.
When I first opened the bag this sweet intoxicating smell came out. After further checking the bag I  noticed the Cleopatra Soap made with Lemongrass, Ginger and Lime. It is the best smell ever.
I adore pretty natural soaps! It fills our bathroom with such sweet aroma.
The princess now insists on only using this soap.
Lucy calls it "Egypt soap"
Lastly she added chocolates filled with caramel.
Its like she knew me so well. I don't love many things but chocolate is one of my first loves.
A sweet cuddle bunny, the best soap and chocolates... what more can a girl ask for?
They were the perfect combination of sweet and creamy.
Still high from winning and high from chocolate euphoria... we played.
In the end she crowned her "Princess Bluebell"
Look at all the love and sweet little details ...

From her dainty knitted sweater, to her "b" necklace, to the perfect matching skirt,
to her handmade tags.... we inspected and relished her from head to toes.
Love this label!

She promised me she would be careful before taking her for a walk outside.
So off we went.
She was like a good mommy with her first newborn.
notice the princess holding her tag in the other hand
At dinner she had lengthy conversations with Bluebell.

"Its okay my baby, momma's got you."
"Don't be afraid baby, we are in a restaurant"
"I love you my baby, momma's got you"

At the end of the day she could not wait to get home
to show Bluebell our bedtime routine and read her a story.

Here is the lovely story of how Bluebell was born.
Be sure to check out Beck's shop full of these bunnies as well as jewelry and quilt covers.
Her blog is not only filled with her handmade bunnies but with home baked goodies, caring
for her beautiful family and farm, and how she loves giving back to her community.
Every princess should have a Bluebell to love.

Thanks Beck! Bluebell is comfortable in her new home.
We are enjoying watching the princess taking care of her every day.
It will be a pleasure to watch them grow up together.
