Trust

made by me

Note to self...
Because there are days I wear doubt like a proud flag. My big bucket of ideas are dried up at times. My needles go unused for days and I end up feeling guilty. My hands itch to create but nothing comes.
I know this is all a process, and I must trust in it.
It will be brief, but feels like an eternity.
In the end, it is usually where I find my sweet spot, where "what you love to do" happily lives with "what you are good at."

In the same way that Tom Waits said " I am not a percussionist, I just like to hit things."
I pretty much feel the same way. I don't consider myself a knitter, I just want make things.

I will be busy working on getting my mojo back...

In the meantime :
*You can now get 10% off my shop when you like my Facebook page.

*And if you need embroidered labels
I have a coupon for 25% off for ABC Name Tapes. They did a great job on my labels.

Send me a message for either of these and I will send you the code.

* Check out my friend Taibi's Etsy Shop, she sent me the sweetest package of dried lavender, roses, teas and jewelry. Her sweet shop has vintage housewares, clothes, jewelry and her own amazing art.

  1. We all lose our mojo... especially when we have so much going on in life. Your King is back, you have that beautiful little woman, sometimes our biggest creations are right in front of us; I know your mojo is directed in the right place. I can feel your love for your best creations in your posts and pictures.
Your mojo will come back, don't feel guilty, we all go through this.
    XOXO

  2. That picture alone shows that there is plenty of mojo, as does your writing ;)
Believe me, I know exactly what you are talking about!
Alma, I feel bad about still not getting back to you about doing our mutual promotion - I'm glad to see you didn't wait for me to get started! I have been suggesting your page to my friends and continue to do so - I think everyone should like it!
It's not like me to procrastinate, but I have a lot of stuff going on right now and decisions that need to be made etc.... (OMG, that sounds so lame, but it's true).
I did finally get my wrap finished last night and will be posting pictures this weekend!

    1. It sure did. Thanks Alison always for your words, they always bring me back to where I need to be.
The mojo is slowly coming back I am feeding it hawaiian coffee and a sweet cake right now.

  4. I love the graphic for this post. I, too, struggle to come up with something viable at times. I've never seen a post from you that makes me think you're only mediocre. Your creations are always so amazing!

  5. The in-between time takes the most courage—but I have a hunch that you have plenty of built-in brave ;)

  6. Cuando te leo a veces veo las cosas mucho más claras, .. a veces parece que miro un espejo!!!
a veces necesitamos un empujón para ir hacia adelante
a veces sólo necesitamos pararnos y dejar el tiempo correr..
