The Mad Hatter in Wonderland ...part one

Here is the first portion of the king's adventure in Hawaii with his grandparents .
the 10 hr flight was no biggie for him

Leave it to my mother to cater to his every whim. So naturally
when he saw this hat at a hat shop in Hawaii it was his. He felt his adventure had just officially begun. Since our conversations are quick I can't really capture the stories behind each picture, so I leave you these pictures that I think speak for themselves. Please check out the links to each place, they are worth checking out to learn more.
The first stop was his choice ...Pearl Harbor Historical Site. He told me the ship was so big he could not see all of it in one day. Can't wait to hear from him what he has learned.

That night they went to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a great show.
photos were not allowed but he took this one anyway
this one is my favorite pic so far
The next day they went to do the king's favorite activity : hiking
Diamond Head State Monument  was perfect with a spectacular view.

Can't wait to see where his adventurous spirit takes him next.

Definitely confirms why Hawaii is on my bucket list.
Also - does he already look more grown up than when he left?!?

    1. I'd like to make it there myself some day. He told me yesterday he would like to return to see the rest of it with me.
