Plucking Petals

A few days ago Lulu just wanted to go pick flowers. We would do this sometimes in the city where we used to live, except we would only pick up the petals that had fallen of onto the floor. We never had our own garden till now. So we picked our own. After we danced about for a bit with them in our hair we stared giggling and plucking petals whispering "he loves me , he loves me not"....

Then I had the idea to use up some up of this transparent tape roll I have from covering the king's school books. We arranged the petals face down and she decorated a frame from a paper plate.

She loved it and called it "the fairy sun catcher" ... of course its all about the fairies.
I don't know how long the flowers will stay like this since I know its not air tight, but we can always make another.
on the window sill there are some painted-glittered sea shells we also made
Tonight I will be doing some crafting on my own...
thinking about the king on his flight from Honolulu to NYC right now.
I will be keeping the phone by me till he calls me to tell me he has landed.
And my hands will be busy even if my eyes close and my head nods.
those are some of my wallets sold here

  1. Gorgeous crafts - and I am in love with your studio! (and your creations anyways).
I was going to get some writing and planning accomplished this weekend, but everything turned out completely different than planned....
I will work on it this week though and I'm excited to promote our work together!!!

    1. Thanks! I would suggest getting proper laminating sheets if you want it to last. It was fun though. Flowers bloom here year round so its a great thing to keep busy with. She woke up saying " I want to do something creative..." I would love to see yours.
I love me some noro too. My stash is never complete without it.

  4. Oh, I love the fairy sun catcher. This looks like something I could do with my lovely Lena.

Is little sister bored without brother around? I know you'll be happy when he's back in your nest.
