Originally this would of been a post about Jack Skellington.
The princess had plans of her own...
So no scary pumpkin this halloween
can you see who it is?
She was always fascinated with the fact that she can "needle" herself together, as she likes to say.
The carving process is the best... taking out the gooey center to then have a frame to create with.

This was the final result.
Meanwhile the king drew out his plans for his mask...
this was all his creation, design and assembly...
he planned for it to be scary, of course
We wasted no time on it and started a paper mache frame
Looks to me you were all having a good time doing this.

Thanks Jan! Unfortunately Sally only lasted for a few days and then rotted. In the south the air is humid that we could not enjoy her for too long. It was fun though. We love creating with our hands and using materials around the house.
