Two girls in Boots

On a clear Sunday morning 

A girl awoke from her siesta to find adventure

before approaching much needed retail therapy 

she stopped by a local sweet spot for a green tea latte

They were not open for business yet but the little princess noticed 

another little girl about her size with lovely braids in her hair.

They stood there looking at each other's boots.

Motionless, speechless... they were instant friends.

I naturally took out my iPhone and took some shots....

Her name was Yas (pronounced Yaaz).
She invited the princess to enjoy half of her breakfast.
The princess nodded needing another moment to warm up

After some girl talk and people watching...
it was like as if they had always been friends.

Yas' mom and dad own this lovely shop
and because we were the only ones there they had the place to themselves

Yas' dad was happy to have these eager helpers there to pitch in his painting job.
The princess loved that paint roller.

They took some time to draw and share their knowledge of colors
and what snowflakes should look like.

The princess asked what was Yas' favorite flavor ice cream in the shop.
She indulged in her favorite mango sorbet that sat in this yummy white and milk chocolate shell.

They exchanged numbers to arrange other adventures...
