The Mad Hatter in Wonderland ... Aloha!

In the last leg of his trip they headed to Maui.
I won't bore you with details because honestly, how could I , when I was not there to share in his joy.
So I leave you with his pictures that I had so much fun looking at and drooling over.
He does say he wishes to return (with me) ... he feels this island has changed him forever.

  1. OMG I love those pictures!
I really want to go there now, this just moved way up on my bucket list.
(Also? Has he grown up by like 5 years on this trip?!?)
Can't wait to hear the stories he tells you when he gets back home!

I can imagine why it would have changed him.
You're a good Mama, giving him this opportunity to have such a life experience.

  5. i feel a kinship with the king on this one. i am transformed by hawaii everytime i go back and i feel i always have to return to soak in the sun, the aloha, and the everyday magic bestowed by those islands and that culture. but i am quite sure you are happy to have him home - especially as he has the same effect on you. i'm rarely away from my family, being fortunate enough to work from home but i get antsy after 5 hours. congratulations to you for making it through another of the king's home away adventures! i don't know if would have done with as much grace. i think i would cry everyday, lol, even as i shared his joy.

  6. I've only recently truly begun to re-feel that wanderlust. I never desired to visit Hawaii but after following your posts of the King's adventures, it's now on my list. :) Thank you for sharing!
