I have been nominated for the second time for the Liebster award by the lovely Adina. Here is the post from my first award. Since I don't find it easy to write about myself I thought this was a great exercise for me to face some fears. So here we go!
The point of this award is to get to know more about a new or small blogger and to pass the love onto others that deserve recognition. So to continue on this "blog love chain" here are the rules...
and these are my questions posted to me by Mrs. A-OK1. Facebook or Twitter? I find myself more on facebook than twitter but that is because I have more family and friends on Facebook.
2. What blog are you stalking? I love visiting Alison's blog.
3. Coffee or Tea? I love strong coffee most of the time.
4. What is your most viewed blog post? hold on let me check.... this one. I love simple posts too.
5. What is your favorite accessory? my silver hamsa hand charm on my necklace ...I never take it off
6. Would you rather listen to your favorite song on repeat or watch re-runs of your favorite show? umm... song. These days I could listen to Mumford and Sons and Lisa Hannigan on repeat.
7. What is your favorite song? music is so personal to me and changes with my mood that I just cannot pick one
8. What is your favorite show? right now it is "The Killing", in a few weeks it will be "Newsroom".
9. If you were given the opportunity to leave a quote set in stone for future generations, what would it be? "The quieter you become the more you are able to hear."
10. What song was number one on the week you were born? this one ... he might as well be called Mac Daddy... the words are just awful .

3. Which makes this one impossible: I have always wanted to be a dancer.
4. I did not have a TV growing up till I could afford my own in high school.
5. A day that changed me was when I held someone I love as they passed away.
6. If you speak badly of people you call friends, we cannot be friends.

And I pass the award to these ladies, they are always winners in my book...

Kerstin... a new friend, but now feels like we have known each other foreve
This lady I like to call "bunny": an amazing writer who tells great stories about her town
Isaida... this inspiring, strong mami is also a talented knitter and photographer

DeleteI loved reading this! These types of posts are fun for getting to know people. Numbers 1~3 made me giggle and nod in understanding. Number 5 made my heart break... When my dad passed, it was sudden and I never got the chance to say "good bye". I envy people who have that opportunity.Number 7 is true for me as well.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

DeleteI feel that it is always good to add my own flavor to something and make it speak like me.
This was such fun and to be able to share it with some great ladies, even better.
Yeeek! Thanks Alma.
ReplyDeleteAlso, about the King's trip. Isn't it weird to be the one who stays back? You know he's thinking all forward about the adventure, not about Mom left without him. It's yet another one of those parenting things/pains I did not anticipate.
Anytime bunny! I know he is having a blast. I know he will come back with all kinds of great stories. That is what i'm looking forward to and see how far he's come ;)
